From reviewing other students blogs the one thing that I found most interesting was the fact that all students were on different levels. It could have been on a technologically based level or it could have been on a more socially based level. But every student was unique in their own ways and actually opened up in one or another in these blogs.

The next technological skill that I would like to learn would be whatever comes next. I mean our world of technology is forever growing. And I just want to learn everything new that comes out and keep up with the times. I don't want to be the teacher that doesn't know what the latest technological gadget is!

The way that I might learn my future technological-relates skills would be to continue in my education. If I keep pushing myself to learn then I will be able to learn whatever new thing is invented. But if I lose my interest in my education then I will not be able to keep up with what is being invented from day to day.

Since beginning to write actual papers in high school, I have had to learn how to write to bibliographies. And as every one knows bibliographies are boring and very annoying to have to write out. So, my friend introduced me to something that is like Refworks, but for every one. It is called Easybib.com

I have fallen in love with easybib. You go to this site and put in the information from the book that you used and then the site automatically puts it in whatever from you may need. I plan on using this with my students because I want my students to be able to site whatever sources they may use. I don't any my students accused of plagiarism.

The next technology skill that I would like to learn would be how to do music related things on my computer. Like I-POD or burning CDs. Because I have never had an I-POD (yes i know i am like technologically retarded!!) and I want to get one for christmas and then learn how to use it!

I will learn my technologically based goals later in life by just keeping up with the times. I think that is all it takes. If everyone kept up with the times then everyone would know how to use technology in some way!

A computer security risk is any event or action that has potential of causing a loss of computer equipment, software, data and information, or processing capability. Ethics are the standards that determine whether an action is good or bad. Computer ethics are the moral guidelines that govern the use of computers, networks, and information systems. Technology has only begun to influence the way teachers instruct and students learn. Technology is broadening the way a student may learn so that means that education must also adapt to the new processes.

Since, my last posting we have went through the power point section of this class. I learned new things that will have me make a power point presentation faster now. Now, we are beginning the excel section and I think that I am going to learn a lot more.

Today I did some of my student teaching and realized how relaxed classrooms have become today. Many students can talk to their teacher on almost a friend level. I think this will be very beneficial when I become a teacher because I want my students to know that I am there for them no matter what they may be going through.

Education in our textbook is defined as all that experiences, knowledge, and skills a learner gains from both school and society. Technology intergration is the combination of all technology parts, such as hardware and software, together with each subject- related area of curriculum standrards and learner outcomes of each lesson, unit, or activity. An instructional model is a systematic gide for planning instruction or a lesson.

Since the last posting I have learned that I do not know everything about word. Through the practice I have learned many new things or new ways to do things. So I am looking foward to see what else I am going to learn this semester.

Right now I am really excited! After October is over it seems like the worst of this year will be over and then there is Christmas. Come on who doesn't love Christmas?!

The biggest Internet service that is accessible is the World Wide Web. But other services are also available like e-mail and blogs, newsgroups, message boards, facebooks, instant messaging, and chat rooms. WWW sites are easily accessiable. If you want to find something about art history you can a search engine like google or yahoo and find a URL link that will lead you to the correct website for that information. The internet is a very useful invention that will around for centuries to come.

Since my last posting I have learned that tools like inspiration will be very useful to me one day. I may not see it right now but when I become a teacher I will cherish all tools like that. So, I am happy that I learned how to use inspiration.

Right nowI am soo tired. I have realized that October will probably be the hardest month school wise this semster. And I don't know if I am ready for it!

An input device is any hardware component that allows you to enter data, programs, commands, and user responses into a computer. An output device is any computer component capable of conveying information to a user. Some examples are monitors, printers, and speakers. Storage media is the physical material on which data, instructions, and information are kept. A storage device is the mechanism used to record and retrieve these items to and from a storage medium.

Since my last posting I do not feel like I have really learned anything new about technology. But I still feel like I have so far learned a lot in this class and look foward to learning more. Until my next posting...

I am really excited about becoming a teacher. It feels like it can not come quick enough. Everyday it is classes and more classes but never a feeling like it is almost over.

Application software is a set of programs designed to perform specific tasks for users. Some applications can be used for: a business tool, supporting school activities, or helping with home and personal activities. Productivity software is suppose to help people become more effective and efficient while performing their daily activities. Graphics and multimedia software may include desktop publishing software, paint/image editing software, or Web page authoring software. All these types of software are suppose to make our lives today easier. We will have to master these skills one day in order to teach youth of tomorrow.

Since my last posting I have acquired new skills in word and windows xp. Though I may have had these skills before I started this class, I am now learning to master these skills. Hopefully one day I will get to a point where I have all these skills mastered.

Since coming to FSU I have felt many emotions. Sometimes I just wanted to cry while at other times I didn't understand why I was laughing. But now I am just living each day as it comes and trying to make my college experience the best possible!
